GRAND CENTRAL OYSTER BAR & RESTAURANT
The seafood mecca, Grand Central Oyster Bar, had a problem. Grand Central Station improvements brought in customers, but without any branding in place, this landmark was struggling to be top-of-mind for the local crowd. I developed a print and outdoor campaign driven by multiple ads (below are a few) featuring conversational headlines and body copy their competition could not claim. The Oyster Bar is truly a one of a kind experience with unrivaled freshness and the most diverse seafood menu/wine list combo in NYC. I wanted to nurture those points of difference in a similarly unique way – and it worked. How do I know? Increased business for one. Also, Grand Central security reported that more people broke into telephone kiosks to steal Oyster Bar posters than any campaign in recent history. Selling more broiled Wolfish filet is one thing – becoming pop art is awesome.
